Two weeks ago my air-conditioning unit stopped working completely. One of the managers came to my house by the end of that day end scooped out water at the bottom of my tray. He then made an appointment when he returned from his personal vacation to replace some of the piping. He came out as he promised with an expert on that particular skill and they were done within 30 minutes. They charged very reasonably for a much needed repair. I highly recommend this company.

Wes was very thorough and pleasant to do business with when our A/C unit stopped cooling. He was able to come out the same day and get the unit fixed and cooling again. I will always recommend Dilling to anyone because of the professional experience we had.We almost went with GSM because they installed our unit but they didn’t seem to think our situation was urgent. We had a hard time getting a call back from GSM and finally were told it would be 6 days before they could come out. At that point, it was 82 degrees in our home and we should have called Dilling first. Dilling cares about their customers and reputation and it shows through their customer service.
The technician, Michael, was very informative and professional. He answered all my questions. He showed me the rusted parts. He showed me what the pressure gauge should read and what my pressure actually was. He demonstrated to me what the problem was. It’s on its way to being solved.
The experience with Dilling heating and air was exceptional. I just moved to the area and had zero information on my HVAC unit so I wanted to get it maintenances and checked out. I called on a Thursday and they were at my house the next morning. The tech Jordan was great he looked over everything and walked me through what he checked and why. The unit was a mess and looked like it had never been cleaned. By the time Jordan had finished it looked like a brand new unit. I will definitely call them for any future HVAC needs.
Excellent service! Had just returned from vacation to find our AC system down. Called Dilling in hopes of getting a service tech maybe the next day. Instead, we had a tech within 2 hours. Nick was super! He called to let us know he was on the way. He was here when he said he would be, even though it was pouring rain. Super friendly, courteous, and professional. He trouble shot the problem quickly and efficiently with no time wasted. Repaired the problem quickly and explained what he did. Very nice young man. I highly recommend Nick. WOW ! WHAT AN AMAZING COMPANY! MY HOME WARTANTY SENT ACCENT AIR TO INSTALL A NEW AC UNIT TWO DAYS AGO AND THEY BROKE MY OTHER UNIT. DESPRRATE BECAUSE ACCENT AC WOULD NOT COME FIX THEIR WORK FOR WEEKS I CALLED THIS COMPANY. THE RECEPTIONIST WAS SO KIND AND GOD MY AC ANGEL JIMMY Barlowe ❤ here within two hours. He spent hours fixing what the other company had messed up and for pennies. I would not only highly recommended this company I would request Jimmy he was a lifesaver ! So happy and greatful !
Update: Dilling customer service rep. Mary Kate reached out to me and I explained the issue and why I was upset and they agreed that I should not have been charged for the refrigerant on the first call since it was misdiagnosed. They corrected that and made an adjustment on the bill and I am happy. Very few companies will call back and listen to the customer in situations like this, but I do believe this is the correct resolution that makes both parties happy. Would I use them again? YesOur HVAC system in Kannapolis, NC stopped working about 3 weeks ago and I called Dilling HVAC to have them come look at the system. They originally diagnosed the system as having a dirty condenser unit that just needed to be cleaned and they gave me the price for that and I signed off on it. They called me an hour later and told me that actually was not the problem but that it was a totally different problem with there being too much refrigerant in the system and the total cost between the two issues is now going to be over $550. Fast forward 2 weeks later and the HVAC system stops working again so they sent a different technician out and he told me that the system was actually not working because of a valve metering part that was clogging up but was under warranty. He said this was the problem from the get-go. He told me that he would have to order the part to fix the problem and also they would need to remove all of my refrigerant and add new refrigerant and the cost would be over $750. Bottom line, they misdiagnosed the problem the first time but yet I'm expected to pay for that at a total cost of over $1,300. I run a business and if I make a mistake and misdiagnose something, I don't get to go back and charge my customer a second time even more money because I misdiagnosed it the first time. I can understand one of the two charges but having to pay both is outrageous and I don't know how people stay in business doing that. I'm very disappointed.

They installed 2 new A/C units (plus furnaces) for me. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and were a pleasure to work with. And they were a good $5-6k cheaper than the “top” HVAC company, which would NOT have replaced the furnaces, and they would have charged an EXTRA 3.5% to finance (“Mr Jenkins told me to upcharge as much as possible”).Highly recommend Dilling!
My A/C unit went out and I went into a panic. Contacted Dilling and they had a tech on site within 2 hours. They quickly found my issue and addressed it. Gave me options for what was needed to address the repair and also gave options to help avoid the issue moving forward. They were able to take care of everything immediately and got my unit back up and running. I was concerned it was not cooling quick enough. I was original told it would take a little time to get things cooled off due to temperatures being in the high 90’s. Everything the said was accurate and happened just as they said. Made a great offer, came in and installed the next day. Minor problem getting the system running, but when I called to report a technician came right out, after hours, and took care of the problem. Great communication. Hiccups occur, but when a business responds like Dilling did, they are no big deal. Very pleased.
My elderly mother’s air conditioners went out, but I didn’t find out until Saturday evening. I called Diiling and they had a technician in the next day. He repaired the upstairs service quickly; but they had to replace the downstairs system. That system was installed on Tuesday and she was able to use 6 month free financing for the system. Quick to respond, repair, and easy to work with. I can’t recommend highly enough.
About a week age, my AC just died. I called Dilling HVAC and had the opportunity to meet Dre - a service tech. Great guy. I have already given my exceptionally positive review of this superb technician. So I’ll not digress. When the repair Dre performed did not resurrect my dying HVAC for more than a few days , as he completely explained to me that it was on its last leg , I was faced with the nightmare of replacing my entire system. Because Dre had been so honest with me and did his best to resuscitate my ailing HVAC, when it was apparent I needed a new system, I called Dilling to give me a bid. Owen, a wonderful person came out and gave me several options on a HVAC replacement. He was polite, caring, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and just came across as a really good guy. Once I decided on what system I wanted to have installed, the installation crew that showed up consisted of Kellen, Grant, and Kobe. What a GREAT team. They, just like I described Owen and Dre, were literally the “Dream Team”. They installed my new system in less time than predicted, cleaned up after themselves, and were a pleasure to work with while in my home in 85+ degree temps. A SUPER group of great guys! Jimmy Barlowe was dispatched to our house to repair our air conditioning unit and exceeded our expectations. He was very professional and worked in a timely manner, even though we were added to his already full workday! The company as a whole was more than accommodating and made sure that someone could assist us same day. Pricing was fair and Jimmy even took the time (at the tail end of said, full workday) to talk to us about recommendations for future maintenance and how to avoid potential issues. Dilling has our business from here on out!
After an estimate for the job, the installers came out and put the unit in. They identified an issue that wasn't initially addressed, but it wasn't long before another team came out and fixed the issue. The quality inspector was also helpful in explaining how to address small air returns (due to the age of my house) to better enhance the operation of my unit. Overall I am pleased. Dilling has been easy to contact and quick with responses. I would recommend them for your installation.

Wes was so professional and helpful in my very odd heating and A/C predicament. I had a very complicated system installed years ago without my knowledge. He came in and helped alleviate most of the problems, until they could ultimately be solved. He was able to diagnose the issue in my unit and gave me a very fair quote. Owen quickly followed up and we are working on next steps. Everything so far has been nothing short of amazing service.
Had Dilling Heating and Cooling come out to inspect and clean my heat pump. They detected low levels of freon which led to them finding a leak. They also found out I was a half ton shy with the unit I currently had. I was giving some options but the only real choice was to replace the unit, especially being a half ton shy. Within 24 hours from the first phone call, Dilling had my new 2.5 ton heat pump installed and running. With a 10 year warranty on parts and a 2 year labor warranty, I feel good about recommending Dilling Heating and Cooling. I'll be using Dilling for continued maintenance to ensure I get the most out of my new unit.

In addition to installing a new A/C and furnace they also installed a new water heater. They made the utility room in my garage the sexiest room in my house! All of the people (the salesman, the four installers and the quality control) were very professional and on timely. I am very pleased.

I can not recommend this company enough! My wife just had a baby and is at the hospital, I came home with my one year old daughter to pick up clothes for her and the house was at least 85 degrees due to the AC not working. I was stressed out due to the newborn coming home tomorrow. A service technician by the name of John Boy showed up and was VERY friendly as well as knowledgeable. He fixed the issue promptly and affordably. This will definitely by the company I go to in the future.

We had an indoor and outdoor HVAC installed. A tech called me Wednesday and Thursday a tech was out to help us, on Monday the installer came out removed the old units and installed the new. The service and quality of work was 110% our installers took care of us did not leave until everything was 100% they did not rush and we’re very helpful explaining the new system to us. I was beyond satisfied with the level of professionalism and and how efficient the installers were. I would highly recommend.
A/C went out on Friday afternoon and temps were in the 90s outside. I was able to call them on Saturday morning and they came out Saturday after lunch and diagnosed and fixed our issue to get our AC back up and running. Awesome experience.
My AC stopped cooling during the night, called Dilling Heating and Air next morning. Lady I spoke with was very nice and got me set up with appointment for the same day! When technician was on the way I was sent a text along with his picture. Jimmy was great and had the air back cooling quickly! Would definitely recommend!
We called Dilling after our AC would not kick on first time attempting to use it for the season. Scott from Dilling came out the next day, troubleshot it within about an hour, wrote a quote and was here within 48hrs after to perform the repairs we needed once parts were gathered. He also took the time to explain what we needed to do maintenance wise regularly to not end up with the same problem after the repair. In this current climate of shortages of personal and parts Dilling got it done FAST.
